Funeral Services For Milton Novy Held On Tuesday

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 26, 1960, for Milton Novy at the Peterseim Funeral Home. The Rev. C. Dendy Garrett conducted services at 2 o'clock and internment was made in the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona.
Milton Novy was born May 5, 1880, near Prague, Czechoslovakia. He came to the United States with his parents. On July 18, 1905 he was married to Anna Vodicka who preceded him in death six years ago. The couple made their home on a farm southwest of Kalona.
To this union were born four children, two died in infancy. Survivors include a son, Roy Novy of Illinois, and a daughter, Mrs. Lauren Geringer of Iowa City, and eight grandchildren.
Several years ago Mr. Novy left the farm to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Lauren Geringer in Iowa City where he died January 24 at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 19 days.
