Solon, Iowa--Hattie Stahle, the mother of Mrs. Harley Moreland of Tipton, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the age of 80 years, in a Davenport hospital, following a long illness.

Final rites were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Solon Methodist church. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery.

Born near Solon, May 2, 1875, she was married to William Stahle Oct. 7, 1894, in Iowa City. Mr. and Mrs. Stahle farmed in the Solon vicinity for more than sixty years. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Harley Moreland of Tipton; three sons, Emery, of Fort Dodge, Boyd of Solon, and Wayne of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, a brother George Brogan of near Solon, and a half-brother John Brogan of Marion.
