Donald Sladek of Iowa City passed away on 12/15/2018 after a long illness.

His family includes his mother, Phyllis Sladek; sisters, Deb Sladek and Kay Evans, nephew Brian Evans, great niece, Cheyanne Evans and great nephew, Skyler Evans; sister, Susan (Jim) Leiser; nephew, Wesley (Dawn) Leiser; great niece, Athena and great nephew, Austin; niece Amy (Jason) McCarry; great nephews,Tony and James Vega; great niece, Kailey McCarry;
sisters, Jeannie (David) Rivas and Rosan (Clint) Walters; brothers, Mike Bombei and Pat Bombei.

Don is proceeded in death by his father Ralph C. Sladek and Chuck Bombei.

Don owned Mid Town Glass which he opened 35 years ago. Don had many wonderful and close friends including Elainia and Monte Admundson, Nancy and Daryl Lenz, Jeff Hayes and many others.
