Traci was born June 24, 1971 in Mason City Iowa, a short time after she was adopted by her parents Jim and Bonita. Growing up in Anamosa, she graduated from Anamosa High School in 1990. She moved to Iowa City shortly after graduation where she was involved with Systems Unlimited and Reach for Your Potential. Traci worked for many years at Handicare here in Iowa City where she enjoyed taking care of all the little ones. Traci enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies with her Mom, fishing wither her Dad and Brother Wade, loved all animals big and small and the Iowa Hawkeyes no matter what kind of season they were having. She was a global messenger for Special Olympics, having not only participating for decades, but traveling with and sharing her passion for the Games all over. She was proud to be a part of the Best Buddies Program locally and Camp Courageous in Monticello. But most of all her family and friends were her world!

She is survived by her two brothers, Wade and Trent; and her aunts and uncles, Gloria and Calvin Badding, Gladys Long, Mary Havard, many generations of cousins and hundreds of friends.
