Susan I. Brender, 82, formerly of Boise, ID, died Monday, November 5, 2018, at a hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

Susan had been a professor at Boise State University for nearly 30 years in computer Science before her retirement. She moved to Iowa to be near her family this year, Her family includes a sister, Joyce and her husband, Ted Vesely; and a brother and his wife, Richard and Lois Brender; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and the love of her life, “Babe” Tipton and her sister, Karen Brender.

Arrangements are pending at this time through Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, where condolences can be sent through their website @ www.gayandciha.com. Any services will be announced at a later date for her to be interred with Babe.
