John Dilatush, one of the most prominent farmers of Lincoln township, in Johnson county, died at his home southwest of Downey, on Friday afternoon at 5:30, after an illness of one week, death being due to grip and other ailments.

He was in his 80th year of age; born in Essex county, New York, coming to this country in 1855, and has resided here ever since.
