Joseph Wanek an aged Johnson county farmer was thrown from his seat on a mowing machine by a runaway team last Monday and killed. He fell in front of the deadly sickle bar where he was dragged several hundred feet. Both legs were severed from his body and he was otherwise terribly torn and bruised.
