Amy Jo McClure, 48, of Hills, IA, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center, Iowa City. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miracles in Motion.

Amy was born on June 10, 1970 in Grove City, OH, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Fogle) Hickman. She received her B.A. in Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design. Amy was united in marriage to Dennis McClure on August 10, 1991 in Grove City, OH. She was the Vice President of Retail Sales and Services at Hills Bank. Amy enjoyed all arts and crafts projects, especially Halloween or Christmas decorations. She loved to volunteer at Miracles in Motion. Amy loved watching Kora ride in horse shows and attending Ari’s many musical events. She was proud of her girls academic, artistic, and athletic abilities. Amy most of all was a loving wife and mother with a great sense of humor. She loved her garden, especially her hostas and day lily’s.

Amy is survived by her husband, Dennis of Hills, IA; two daughters, Ari and Kora McClure of Hills, IA; three siblings, Linda (Chris) Putkovich, twin brother, Mark (Patty) Hickman and Charles “Dub” (Rosie) Hickman all of Grove City, OH; Father and Mother-in-law, Bob and Joy McClure of Grove City, OH; brother-in-law, Bill (Deb) McClure of Grove City, OH; many nieces and nephews; and numerous pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Hickman.
