Miss Bell Tanner, aged eighteen, the daughter of Frank Tanner of Iowa City, died at her home on Burlington street, in Iowa City, Thursday, February 20th, of Typhoid Malaria. Bell leaves a heart-broken father, four brothers and three sisters to mourn her demise.

Miss Tanner was a young lady of exempliful qualities, who had a large circle of friends who are deeply grieved at her sudden death. Miss Tanner had been bed-fast for two months, but shortly before her death was improving in health and her parents were expecting her to entirely recover; But she was called to join the Courts above. The funeral took place from the family residence in Iowa City, Friday, Feb. 21st at 2 p.m.

The family has the sympathy of the entire community.
