Jean Evelyn Fedler, 88, died peacefully Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2 PM, Saturday May 26th at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2923 Northgate, Iowa City, 52245. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mark Fedler in memory of his mother.
Jean was born March 20, 1930 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of John and Rita Fern Wilson Creger. She was a graduate of Waukee High School. On August 13, 1955 Jean married Dean Fedler. They celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Jean had been employed at Next to New Resale Store.
Most important to Jean was her family and her faith.
Survivors include her loving husband, Dean and their seven children, Brad (Sandy) of Webster City, Mark (Lori) of Tiffin, Deborah (Glen) Snyder of Fairbank, IA, David of Lakeland, FL, Laura (Jeff) Kolars of Malcom, IA, Steven (Sarah) of Tullahoma, TN, and Jon (Kelley) of Riverside, IA; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; three siblings, Donald, John and Betty Lou; numerous extended family.
She was preceded by her parents, her identical twin, Joan, and siblings, Marion and Marcy, and her daughter-in-law, DaLonna.
