OXFORD-Howard N. Schrock of rural Oxford died suddenly Saturday in Eugene, Ore., while delivering a motorhome. He was 67.
Services are tentatively set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in Sharon Center with the Rev. Yon Schoenmaker officiating. Burial will be the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Mr. Schrock was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Parnell, a son of Norman J. and Ida Yoder Schrock. He married Eleanor King on Nov. 26, 1939, in Hesston, Kan. He was a retired farmer and had worked at Amana Refrigeration for 15 years, retiring in 1983. Since retirement he had been delivering motorhomes for Winnebago Motor Homes in Forest City. He was a member of Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Greg of Iowa City, Gilbert of Denver, Colo., and Randy of Floyd Knob, Ind.; four daughters, Connie (Mrs. Dennis) Huedepohl and Kerilee (Mrs. Doug) Gahring, both of Williamsburg, Linda (Mrs. James) Nelms, of Littleton, Colo., and Barbara (Mrs. James) Murphy of Iowa City; a sister, Lavina Hoylman of Kalispel, Mont., and 10 grandchildren. A brother died earlier.
