Mary Roberts, 75, a long-time resident of rural Oxford, died this morning at Mercy Hospital following a short illness.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Sharon Center United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetary [sic]. Visitation will be a [sic] Powell Funeral Home in Wellman, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

She was born April 11, 1902, at Roseland, Neb., the daughter of George and Amelia Showalter. On Oct. 21, 1926, she married Clifford M. Roberts at Sharon Center.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Leonard E. Roberts of Maquoketa; two daughters, Mrs. KaDell Urice of Vinton and Mrs. Raymond Fergus of Cedar Rapids; one brother, Ammon Showalter of Pomona, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Erhman and Mrs. I. M. Grabill, both of Roseland, Neb. and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
