Buried: Sharon Center CemeteryCorporal Stutsman served with the 234th Combat Crew Training Squadron from Clovis Army Airfield, New Mexico.
He was an aerial gunner and one of ten airmen killed when B-17F Flying Fortress #42-3155 lost control and crashed, due to severe icing conditions, ten miles west of Palmer Lake, Colorado, while on a flight from Lowry Field to Clovis A.A.F.The other airmen that perished in the accident:
