Robert L. “Bob” Conley, 47, of Riverside, IA, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. A Gathering will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.

Bob was born on February 22, 1971 in Iowa City, the son of Thomas L. “Mike” Conley and Judith E. (Prahl) Borst. He graduated in 1989 from Octavia Community High School. Bob worked for the City of Iowa City in the streets department for 14 ½ years. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, especially on the Cedar River. Bob loved fixing and tinkering and playing scratch lottery tickets.

Bob is survived by his son, Hunter Conley of Riverside, IA;step-son, Anthony Tredennick of Kalona, IA; three brothers, Guy (Robin) Franks of West Branch, Dan (Gidget) Franks of Nichols and Mike (Chris) Conley of Davenport; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
