Nettie Stutsman

KALONA - Mrs. Nettie Stutsman, 85, of Kalona, died Wednesday night at a Wellman nursing home where she had lived three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Sharon Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona until noon Saturday.
A memorial fund has been established for the Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Stutsman was born Aug. 1, 1885 near Kalona to Fred and Sarah Strickler Niffenegger. She married Calvin Stutsman Jan. 1, 1913. He died in 1961.
Surviving are one son, Eldon of rural Iowa City; three brothers, Roy of Cedar Rapids, Ray of Ainsworth and Ed of Kalona; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Chody of Kalona and Mrs. Pearl Thomas of West Burlington; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and six brothers.
