Stella Miller, 90

Stella Henrietta Miller, 90, of 400 South Dubuque St., died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at her home after a sudden illness.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Mrs. Miller was born on May 16, 1908, in Blue Grass, to John and Sophia (Lehms) Stramp. She married George Robert Miller on Oct. 26, 1929, at Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City. He died on Feb. 25, 1964. She was employed by Economy Advertising in Iowa City for over 45 years, retiring in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita Ihrig and her husband, Robert, of Iowa City, Sandi Barger and her husband, Mick, of North Liberty; one son, George R. "Butch" Miller and his wife, Phyllis, of Iowa City; one sister, Hazel English of Palmetto, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Henrietta Trimble of Iowa City, Thelma Miller of Tiffin; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her husband, an infant son, Robert, two brothers, Dick Stramp and Raymond Stramp, and one sister, Lula English, died earlier.
