OBITUARY
Mrs. Charles Stutsman

Mrs. Clarissa E. Stutsman, nee Wagner was born November 18, 1895 and died Friday 19, 1920, aged 24 years, 3 months and one day. She was born in Sharon Township and passed away at her late home, a short distance west of Sharon Center. The deceased was married to Mr. Charles Stutsman, November 27, 1913, and to this union were born four children, two daughters and two sons. She was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wagner. The former having preceded her in death a number of years ago and the latter less than two years ago. Mrs. Stutsman was a devoted Christina having united with the Christian Church of Frank Pierce when quite young and later united with the Evangelical Church of Sharon Center. Her death came as a great shock to the community and her loss will be deeply mourned by a large circle of friends, not only in church and social circles, but in other circles and organizations of the community.
She realized that her end was near and was ready to go. Mrs. Stutsman was a good companion, a kind mother, and made friends wherever she went. She leaves to mourn her early departure from this life, her sorrow-stricken husband. Mr. Charles Stutsman, and the four children, namely; Evelyn, Vivian, Glen and Karl. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Fred Fry and two brothers, Phil E. of New Hampton, Iowa, and Rollin A. of Colorado Springs.
The funeral service was held in the Sharon Center Church on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., Rev. J. Roths of Marshalltown, Iowa, preached the sermon and was assisted by the Pastor, Rev. C. Ziegler. The interment was made in the Sharon Center cemetery. May God bless and comfort these friends in their deep sorrow.
