David James Gleason, 20, son of Garry and Cynthia Gleason, passed away Monday, March 12th at UIHC.

Visitation will be Monday, March 19th from 5 to 7 PM at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to David Gleason Memorial Fund.

David was born December 10, 1997 in Iowa City. He was a graduate of Elizabeth Tate High School. David loved nature and the adventures spent with family and friends. He was employed at Culvers.

David is survived by his father, Garry Gleason; his daughter, Effy; his momma, Cindy Hook; his siblings, Sephera, RJ “Race”, Chera, Tyler, Matthew, Riley “Goose”, Ashton, Spencer, Jaydyn, and Aniya; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia (Lenoch) Gleason.
