Rites Held Tuesday For Mrs. Schwimley, of Near Sharon Center

Mrs. Nora Alice Schwimley, 61, of near Sharon Cneter, died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday at Mercy hospital, following several weeks' illness.
She was born January 27, 1892, in Union township, the daughter of R.M. and Sarah Reese Williams, and was reared in that community. Her marriage to L.W. Schwimley took place October 12, 1916.
The couple established their home on a farm in Sharon township and had resided at their present home, 10 miles southwest of Iowa City, since 1930.
Mrs. Schwimley was a member of the Sharon Evangelical United Brethren Church, the W.S.W.S. group of that church, and the Sharon Women's Club.
Surviving are the husband; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Miller, Iowa City; one son, Gerald, Des Moines; two grandchildren, Jane and Linda Miller; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Humphrey of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Nettie Hughes of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Ada Boller of Ft. Worth, Texas, and one brother, Carl E. Williams, Iowa City.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today at the Sharon Evangelical church, with the Rev. Richard Pfaltzgraff officiating, and burial was in the cemetery there.
