Leslie T. Milder, 87, of West Branch, died Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City from complications of a stroke.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 10th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Reverend Rudolph T. Juarez officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9th at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Nichols. Memorials may be made to the West Branch Fire Department, Iowa City Hospice or St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Leslie was born to William Stephen and Mary Francis (Hooley) Milder in Johnson County on September 20, 1917. He married Margaret Elizabeth “Betty” Meade on February 18, 1947.

Leslie is survived by his children: Anna Jean Pruess (Robert) of Clarence; Janet Berry (Steve) of Iowa City; Patrick (Ruth) of State Center; and Gary (Nancy) of West Branch; eleven grandchildren: Jeff, Darren, Cindy, Chad, Chris, David, Julie, Scott, Krista, Amber and Taylor; one great-granddaughter Aubrie; a sister Mary Agnes Gibson (Russ); a brother Clement (Joyce) Milder; sister-in-laws, Francis Milder, Irene Milder, Marian McLaughlin and Carol (Glenn) Potter.
