Darla S. Noel, 63, of Iowa City, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family, following a long battle with cancer.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 am at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Iowa City. Private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Darla is survived by her husband Jon; her children, Eric Noel (Amanda) of Cedar Rapids, Rebecca Noel (Chris Dill) of North Liberty and Matt Noel (Nikki) of Davenport; two grandchildren, Eli and Lilith; sister, Darlene Schmidt (Chuck) of Ames, Iowa, brother, Darold Matter (Jean) and brother Darwin Matter, all of Lytton, Iowa.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents and a sister in law, Mary Matter.
