Fredrich William Mueller (Friedrich Müller) died December 22, 2017, at his home. A memorial service for immediate family will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 with Pastor David Aanonson officiating. Interment will be at the Ridgewood Cemetery, North Liberty, Iowa.

Fredrich was born November 14, 1932, in Neu Pasua, a German settlement in Yugoslavia. At the age of 12, his family was forced to leave their home due to the war. They relocated to Austria and then to Germany where they settled. In 1958, Fredrich immigrated to the United States and immediately began working at Armour/ConAgra until plant closing. He then returned to college and obtained a degree in accounting. His keen intellect, gift with numbers, and understanding of the financial world both aided in managing the family business and was a great source of personal fulfillment.

A man of many interests, one of the hobbies he enjoyed was bowling. He was a member of the Mason City Bowling Association and bowled in local, state and national tournaments. He also enjoyed woodworking, designing and creating. He drafted plans and assisted in building two family homes. He loved the outdoors, long walks in the woods, and camping. Most of all, Fredrich loved spending time with his family.

Fredrich is survived by his wife, Dora Jean; children, Brad and Linda; their spouses, Lynn and Larry; grandchildren, Karsten, Erik, Ella, Kaden, Ian and Ivy; his brother, Jacob; his sister, Elisabeth, and her husband, Herbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johann and Elisabeth (Drumm) Müller, and brothers, Johann and Adam.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
