Patricia “Pat” Ann Duffy, 84 died peacefully Friday, December 8th.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday, December 13th at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pat Duffy Memorial Fund.
Pat was born April 18, 1933 in Iowa City, the daughter of Ivan and Marjorie (Stubbs) Rose. She was a 1951 graduate of Iowa City High School. On May 9, 1956 Pat married Peter J. Duffy Jr.
Prior to retirement, Pat was employed at ACT and had also been the church secretary at St. Wenceslaus for many years. She enjoyed spending time with old friends. Most important to Pat was her family.
Survivors include her three children, Joe (Mary Jo) Duffy of Iowa City, Glenn (Irene) Duffy of Riverside and Rachel (Gerard) Johnson of Kalona; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Logan, Ryan (Kelly), Erin (Will) Windauer, Kenny Johnson (Lisa), Sara Johnson: great granddaughter, Madisyn; her brother, David (Wilma) Rose of Brighton, CO.
Pat was preceded in death by parents, her husband, two children James and Regina, grandson Adam and siblings, Jim Rose, Virginia Jennings and Marilyn Currnow.
