Gary Kesselring suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and went home to our Lord on September 2, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born in Iowa City, IA, January 24, 1941. His family moved out to California where he graduated from Fallbrook Union High School. Gary joined the U.S. Air Force and married Judith A. Rigney Kesselring. He served eight years in the Air Force, including three tours in Vietnam.

Gary went to work for NCR while going to college and settled in Ramona, CA. There he and his wife raised their three daughters and Gary began his career as a Realtor. Gary was highly respected in the Real Estate Community throughout San Diego as a Broker, Investor and Business Owner for over 30+ years.

In 1999, Gary married Judy A. Moore Kesselring. Together they worked in Real Estate in San Diego, moving to Arizona in 2006.

Gary loved spending time with his family more than anything and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a private pilot, photographer, trumpet player, dancer, avid reader, health conscious and enjoyed travel. He was passionate about flying and was a longtime member in the San Diego Association of Realtors. A true leader in the community, he served in many capacities including the honor of 32nd degree Master in the Masonic Lodge in Ramona. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and his love for knowledge and wisdom. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and professional leader. His involvement in the lives he touched will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy A. Kesselring of Maricopa, AZ; three daughters, Mikaela (Paul) Baird of Sutherlin OR, Brocclyn (Judi) Kesselring-Bursby of Elk Grove, CA, and Tiffani (Brian) Lynch of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Dennis (Terri) Kesselring of W. Sacramento, CA; sister, Karen Pinto of Loomis, CA; two stepsons, Troy (Kim) Bizzack of Alamogordo, NM, and Matt (Kim) Bissack of Ahwatukee, AZ; twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild-to-be. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the New Life Assembly Church, 424 Letton St., Ramona, CA 92065 (behind Denny’s, off Raymond) on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:30 am. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s honor to Judy Kesselring, c/o Chase National Bank or to Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ.
