Robert Francis Heffernen, 90, died Sunday, September 17th at UIHC.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1PM Friday, September 22nd at the Newman Center. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Oaknoll Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Bob was born August 18, 1927 in Dubuque, son of Herman and Ida May Heffernen. Bob served in the US Army from 1946-48. He moved to Iowa City in 1976.

Bob was a resident of Oaknoll Retirement Residence.

Bob his survived by his brother John (Gertrude) of Lompic, CA.
