Sharon M. Roknich, 52, died at home August 9, 2017 following a brief illness.
Funeral Services will be at 2:30 PM, Saturday August 12th at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City with Father Steven Witt officiating. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Saturday. Services will also be held next week at Gurnee- Salata Funeral Home in Gurnee, IL.
Sharon was born December 16, 1964 in Waukegan, IL. She moved to Iowa City in 1983 to attend college.
Sharon was a teacher at Grand Wood Elementary School.
Survivors include her parents, Paul and Sylvia Roknich Sr. of Gurnee; her brothers, Paul Jr., Phil and Ron; and many friends in Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbie.
