Tim A. Vargason, 56, died Monday at his home following a sudden illness.

A memorial gathering will be held in late June.

Tim was born August 25, 1960 in Cedar Rapids, the son of James and Margaret Anderson Vargason.

He was employed at City Carton Recycling, now Republic Services for forty years.

Tim is survived by his mother, Margaret of Donna, TX; his brother, Terry of Iowa City; two sisters, Kathy (David) Graham of Marion and Ann (Ken) Retzinger of Wilmette, IL.
Tim was preceded in death by his father.
