Ada Irene Hertz,77, died peacefully Wednesday April 26th at Briarwood Care Center.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, April 29th at Oakland Cemetery in Solon.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Iowa City Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service.

Ada was born May 23, 1939 in Oelwein, the daughter of Luther and Ada Roessler Hertz.

Ada moved to Iowa City in 1957 and was a graduate of Iowa City High School. She was a cashier at Osco Drug for 34 years, retiring in 2006.

Survivors include cousins and close friends.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sarah Marie and Letha Mae.
