Deborah Dani, 61, died peacefully Monday, November 28th at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The family will greet friends Saturday, December 3rd from 10 AM to 12 PM at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Service, 210 Holiday Rd, Coralville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Foundation for Pulmonary Disease Research, 1 West Park, Iowa City 52242.
www.uifoundation.org/waysDebbie was born September 12, 1955 in Park Ridge, Illinois, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes Greenwald Franczak. She attended St. Norbert’s College. She was a longtime resident of Mundelein, Illinois, where she was a corporate travel agent. In 2013 Debbie moved to Tiffin, IA to be near her family.
She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Debbie liked to travel and read books. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and loved the music of Barry Manilow.
Survivors include her two sons and four grandchildren, William (Mindy) Kostow and their children, Tyler, Ryan and Maya of Grinnell and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Kostow and their daughter, Olivia; three siblings, Tom Franczak (Judy), Nancy McNeely and Jim Franczak (Anne); and her former spouse, Louis Kostow.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert Dani.
