Mason Christopher Klein, 7 month old son of Matt & Lisa Klein of North Liberty, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 4, 2016.

Funeral Services will begin at noon on Saturday, November 12th, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Coralville.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road in Coralville.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to The Mason Klein Memorial Fund.

On March 29th of this year, late on a Tuesday evening, Matt & Lisa were blessed with the arrival of a healthy baby boy, Mason Christopher Klein. Mason enjoyed making new friends wherever he went and would often entertain others with his noises and facial expressions! His giggles and smiles were infectious. Mason was a happy little boy. He was with family to cheer on the Cubs last week.

Although with very heavy hearts, Mason’s memory will live on with his parents, Matt & Lisa (Janechek) Klein; grandparents, Lonnie and AliceAnn Janechek of Independence and Dave and Sue Klein of Des Moines; great-grandmother, Carol Klein of Brooklyn; uncles and aunts, Michael (Mallory) Janechek and Alicia Klein; cousins, Anika Janechek, Jaiden and Hunter Manley and many great aunts, uncles and second cousins.

Mason was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Carl and Alice Mealy and Donald and Anna Janechek, Marvin Klein, Robert and Eleanor Morris, an uncle, Christopher Klein and
a great uncle, Robert Mealy.
