MRS. WESTFALL DIES SUNDAY

RITES WILL BE HELD AT ST. PATRICK'S

FOR LOCAL RESIDENT, 36

Mrs. Raymond Westfall, 36, lifelong resident of Iowa City, died at her home 915 Maiden Lane Sunday night. She had suffered an illness of several months.
Born Jessie Fay SMITH in Iowa City May 2, 1915, she was the daughter of Charles and Pauline SMITH. She attended grade and high schools in Iowa City, and was married to Raymond WESTFALL February 20, 1932.
She is survived by her husband and a son, Raymond D., at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles T. SMITH, former Iowa City alderman, and William M. SMITH, both of Iowa City, and a sister, Mrs. Elsie COX, of Iowa City. Her father and mother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's church with burial in Oakland cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at the McGovern funeral home.
