Marilyn L. Fuhrmann, 74, of Iowa City, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 8, 2016 at Mercy Hospital ER, Iowa City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Iowa City with Father Jeff Belger Officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Monday, July 11, 2016 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City with a rosary at 6pm.

Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Iowa City.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Marilyn was born August 26, 1941 in Iowa City, the daughter of Vern and Helen (Gilroy) Nash. She was united in marriage to Robert Fuhrmann on July 16, 1966 in Iowa City. Marilyn was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading and watching westerns. Marilyn was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and her faith was very important to her.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Robert; daughter, Elizabeth Fuhrmann of Iowa City; brother, Bill Nash of Cedar Rapids; sister, Shirley Frees of Oxford; and several nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Gene and Don Kline.
