Darrell E. “Poe” Polton, 58 of Oxford, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A gathering for family and friends to remember and share Darrell’s life will be held from 12 noon until 2 pm Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Oxford American Legion. His family includes his wife, Renae; daughter, Christine Polton (Jason Witt); grandchildren, Kyler, Emily and Kaitlyn; sisters, Deb Griffin, Theresa Roff (Bob) and Daise Polton (Butch); and a brother, Donnie Polton.
