Collin Michael Strabala, 20, died on Thursday, May 7th.

A Service of Remembrance to Celebrate Collin’s life will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12th at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City, where his family will greet friends after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the Collin Strabala Memorial Fund has been established.

Collin was born February 5, 1995 in Iowa City and was a 2013 graduate of Iowa City West High School.

Collin was employed at Fareway Food Store in North Liberty. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, mushrooming, golfing, and his family in Tennessee. Most important to Collin was his family, especially Sunday night dinners at home and Christmas holidays at the Strabala’s.

Collin is survived by his parents, Patty (Bryan) Clark of Coralville, and Richard Strabala of North Liberty; his sisters, Makenzie Strabala and Jenny Hardy, both of Coralville; his grandmothers, Phyllis Strabala and Carolyn Hardy, both of Riverside, and Mary Frances Clark of Camden, Tennessee; niece and nephew, Madelynn and Ryan; and his beloved four legged companions, Humphrey and Piper; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Collin was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
