Mrs. Catherine Strub was laid to rest in St. Joseph's cemetery this morning after 9 o'clock services at St. Mary's church. She was a loyal and beloved member of that church and of the Rosary and Altar societies therEin.

Mrs. Strub was 64 years of age. She passed away in a local hospital Saturday, September 23, 1922 at 6 o'clock, as already announced herein, following a protracted illness.

Surviving are four daughters and two sons: Edward J. of Marengo; Alvia, of Cedar Rapids; and Mesdames Gertrude (G.L.) Miller; Rena (Ralph) Thomason; Mary (L. B.) Kessler, all of Iowa City; and Mrs. Lucia (Ralph) Leighton of Idaho. Mourning also are her sister, Martha Kost, and brother, Joseph Kost of Kentucky.

Mrs. Strub was a woman of many fine qualities and her warm heart and religious nature proved in many ways to her large circle of friends won the respect of everybody who knew her.

The friends of the family will extend sympathy in their time of sorrow.
