Larry C. Gill, 70, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. In accordance with Larry’s wishes, no services are being held. Online condolences can be sent to Larry’s family through the web at www.gayandciha.com

Larry Charles Gill was born May 2, 1943, in Chicago, IL; son of Liburn and Marian Ella (Molback) Gill. His family moved to West Branch shortly after his birth. After school, Larry moved to Las Angeles, CA where he worked for twenty years as an upholsterer before returning to the Iowa City area where he has lived since.

His family includes his son, Sean Gill and his wife, Jennifer of Wellman, IA; grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew and Molly. Also surviving is Larry’s sister, Janice Adolphson.

One of Larry’s greatest joys in life was being a grandfather!

Larry’s family would like to thank the Heritage Area Agency on Aging and the Iowa City VNA for all the care and support they provided Larry.
