Franklin B. Yeries, 70, of Oxford passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Windmill Manor in Coralville.
Franklin was born May 2, 1942 in Oxford, to Franklin and Theresa Yeries. In November of 1979, Franklin married Shirley in Marshalltown, Iowa. Franklin worked as a farmer for 30 years before retiring. Franklin enjoyed spending time with his family. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and working in his garden.
Survivors include his wife Shirley, 2 children, Jake Yeries, and Sarah Yeries, his 2 sisters, Mary Jean (Paul) Stebral, and Lorraine (Ray) Kutcher, a granddaughter Ava Yeries, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Kenneth Yeries, Leland Yeries, and Stanley Yeries.
