DEATH CALLS ANTON ROUNER

Anton Rouner, whose life an operation could not save, died in an Iowa City hospital, aged three score, Tuesday night.

He had resided in Johnson county the last half-century and more. He was a member of the M.W.A. Widowed, he resided in Lincoln township with his children during the last four years, following his wife's death.

Surviving are his sons, Roy, Edward, and Charles, all of Lincoln township, and daughter, Mrs. Ella Bulechek, of that township; and two brothers, John and Vincent Rouner of Newport.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Wenceslas church. The burial will be at St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mr. Rouner was a man of excellent character and kindly ways, and many friends are grieving over his death.
