Robert Lee Grimm, 65, of 4107 Kansas Avenue, died Monday, December 1, 2003 following a sudden illness.

Robert was born October 14, 1937, the son of Robert C. and Gretchen Vestermark Grimm in Chicago, IL. He graduated from City High School in 1956 and then attended the University of Iowa for two years. Robert was a draftsman at the University of Iowa for a number of years.

Robert enjoyed the Summer Olympics where he participated in riflery and target shooting events. Swimming and his dogs were a favorite pastime.

Robert is survived by his mother, Gretchen of Solon; four sisters, Nancy Shellady of Iowa City, Karen and husband George Bailey of San Gabriel, CA, Gretchen Zuber of Cheyenne, WY, and Susan and husband Howard Ross of Willits, CA; three children, Mary Mae, Noah Lee and Pearl, all of Quinlan, TX; two grandchildren; and his former wife Debbie Gilpin of Quinlan, TX. He was preceded in death by his father.
