Patrick William Adamski, son of Edward J. Adamski Sr. and Lela Mae (Gurwell) Adamski, was born November 30th, 1955 in Ft. Carson Army Base outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado and died at the age of 47.

Patrick went to elementary school in Security and Widefield, Colorado, middle school in New Fairfield Connecticut and high school in Deposit New York. Graduated from Graceland University with a History major and did some graduate work in Psychology at University of Iowa.

He worked at the University of Iowa Clinical Research Center; Pikes Peak Library District; Mercy Hospital Dietary and most recently at the Crisis Center and Food Bank here in Iowa City.

Patrick was an active member of the Community of Christ Church in Coralville, and taught Sunday school and led other activities at the church.

Patrick volunteered within the mental health community in Iowa City, like the Mid-Eastern Iowa Community Mental Health Center and other local charities.

He is survived by his father Edward J. Adamski Sr. of Hancock, NY. His brothers Edward J. Adamski Jr., Anthony Adamski of Colorado Springs, CO. and John David Adamski of Lamoni, IA. Also by his Aunt Lavon McGervey of Grandview, MO and Aunt Clela Gurwell of Clarksdale MO. And his sister-in-law Heidi (W) Adamski, niece Elizabeth Anne Adamski, nephews James Anthony Adamski and Josef Joshua Adamski of Colorado Springs, CO.

Patrick was preceded in death by his mother Lela Mae Adamski.
