Beth Ann Menke McCabe, 55, of 812 Eastmoor Drive in Iowa City, died Saturday, November 22, 2003 in her home of cancer.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in West Point.

Beth was born March 22, 1948 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Richard & Dorothy (Rasan) Menke. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in West Point in 1966 and in 1970 received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa. Beth was raised in West Point and moved to Iowa City in 1980. She was a secretary in the University of Iowa College of Education since 1990.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City.

Beth is survived by her son, Sean McCabe of Iowa City, formerly of Burlington; her mother, Dorothy Menke of West Point; one brother, Matt Menke of West Point; three sisters, Barbara Pinckney & her husband Ron & their children, Christopher, Colleen & Cameron of Tacoma, Washington; Deb Cornick & her husband Doug & their children Heath & Heather of Dundee, Oregon; Lynn Crozier & her husband Rick & their children Eric, Justin & Kari of Puyallop, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her father Richard, her grandparents, Al & Rose Menke and Frank & Anne Rasan.
