PETER ZAHNER DIED AT HILLS
Hills, Aug 10 - Peter Zahner died at his home in Hills Thursday afternoon, Aug 9 at 2 o'clock. His death came as a shock to his many friends although he has been in ill health for some time.

Mr. Zahner was seventy-five years and eleven months old. He leaves three sons, Joseph and John of West Lucas, and three daughters, Mrs. Jim Rogers of Tiffin, Mrs. Tom Edle of Sharon and Mrs. Joe White of Union township. A fourth daughter, Mrs. John Edle, preceeded him in death six years ago. There are nineteen grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph church in Hills. The burial will be at Iowa City.
