Martha L. (Pug) Waterhouse – 63

Martha passed away on April 1, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics surrounded by her family.

Martha Louise Townsend was born on August 8, 1948 to Leonard (Bill) Townsend and Marietta (Noland) Townsend. On June 27, 1980 she married Bill Waterhouse. She worked as a nurse for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband Bill; daughter Staci (Townsend) Kirsch; 2 grandchildren Troy (T.J.) Townsend, Justin (Tabetha) Widmer; 2 great grandchildren Bradley and Tyler; 3 sisters Mona (Jim) Peterschmidt, Marilyn (Bill) Hull and Marlene Leiting; 1 brother-in-law Richard Bryant; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Marsha (Peanut) Bryant.

Visitation will be on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Iowa City Regency Mobile Home Park's Community Room at the main office. Burial will be at the Meyers cemetery in Pontoosuc, Illinois on Friday April 13, 2012 with a Graveside Service at 10 a.m.
