Steven R. Young, 55, died suddenly on February 5, 2012 in Coralville.

Memorials for Steve Young may be made by checks payable to the ICPL Friends Foundation and submitted to the attention of Patty McCarthy, Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn Street, Iowa City, IOwa, 52240. Memorials will be used to purchase books, videos and other collection materials related to Chess - as well as support the Children's Chess Tournament.
