Angie L Andrews, 50 of Iowa City, passed away peacefully Friday July 29th,2011 at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City. Services are pending at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed towards The Johnson County Humane Society and Iowa City Hospice.
Angie was born on March 25th, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Robert and Rose Andrews. Angie graduated from Jefferson High School. Angie loved to garden and she loved anything to do with art, she was an artist herself. Angie worked in the Hotel Industry for many years. She fought a long hard battle with cancer, and she will be greatly missed. She was a loving daughter, friend, sister and aunt. She had a love for her three cats; Wilbur, Emma and Isabelle. Angie had been with the love of her life for the past sixteen years Christopher “Casey” Jennings.
Survivors include her mother Rose, brother Randy (Donna) Cady, sister Tami (Roy) Kastli, her life long partner , Christopher “Casey” Jennings, her best friend Bev, four nieces, four nephews, and her three cats.
Angie was preceded in death by her father Robert Andrews.
