Marcia “Marcy” Anliker Rolenc, 67, of Iowa City died Monday, July 11, 2011.

To celebrate Marcy’s life, a gathering for friends and family will be held Saturday, July 23rd from 4 to 7pm at The Kirkwood Room, 513-15 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Friends of the (Senior) Center, 28 S. Linn, Iowa City, IA 52240 or to The Iowa City Parks and Recreation Foundation for The Terry Trueblood Recreation Area c/0 City of Iowa City, 220 S. Gilbert St, Iowa City,IA 52440.

Beloved wife of Edward J. Rolenc; devoted mother of Christan Rolenc and his wife, Lissa, of Menomonee Falls, WI, and Megan Rolenc and her husband, Chris Bruning of Elkridge, MD; loving grandmother of Alexis and Aliya.
Marcy was preceded in death by her parents Delbert L. and Irene L. Anliker of Spencer, IA.
