Edward Gruwell, 78, of North Liberty passed away Saturday May 21st, 2011 at his home in North Liberty.
Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Tuesday May 24th at Lensing Funeral Home in Iowa City. Memorials can be directed to the “Edward Gruwell “memorial fund.
Edward was born April 8th, 1933, in Cedar County, the son of Francis and Freda Gruwell.
Edward was an electrician all of his life.
Edward is survived by his wife, Leona, their children Cherie Kelley, Gary Gruwell and Dianne Miller (Jan). Two sisters Marilyn “Jo” Marshall, Polly Maher, and a brother Robert Gruwell (Reta). Grandchildren; Amy Preslicka, Melissa Grandstaff, Abbie Gruwell, Nicholas Gruwell, Ryan Miller, and Ashley Miller, and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ron and Eugene Gruwell, and sister Thelma Baysinger.
