Dolores M. Noah, 72 of 2200 Miami Dr., Iowa City, Iowa, died June 29, 2003, at her home with her family by her side after a long illness.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 5:00pm at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave. Iowa City. The family will greet friends on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Lensing’s. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice.
Dolores was born November 21, 1930, the daughter of Alfred M. and Marie Vrchoticky Johnson. She was born in Iowa City. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in home economics. On December 18, 1954, she was united in marriage to Paul Noah. The couple was married in Yuma, Arizona. Dolores was an avid traveler and hiker. For twenty-five years, she and her husband traveled to and enjoyed Yellowstone National Park and the majority of the western parts of the United States, with Wyoming being her favorite.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Noah of Iowa City, Iowa, and two sons, Kevin Noah of Tiffin, Iowa, and by Keith Noah of Iowa City, Iowa. She is also survived by two brothers, Ronald Johnson and his wife Priscilla of Oxford, Iowa, and by Harold Johnson and his wife Maureen of Iowa City, Iowa. She was also survived by two grandchildren.
