Shirley M. Elling, 87, of Iowa City passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. Funeral Services are pending with Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home in Park Forest, IL.
Survivors include her four children: Martin Elling of Pleasonton, CA, Gwen Elling of Iowa City, Michael Elling, and Kerry Elling, both of San Diego, CA; a sister Lorraine Mitchell of Naperville, IL, seven grandchildren and two great – grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mabel (Munro) Semple and her husband Eugene Elling
