Birdella K. Tudy Rowley, 66, of 25 E. Zeller Street in North Liberty, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Mercy Hospital Hospice Unit in Iowa City.

Tudy was born March 8, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Arnold L. and Thelma I. (Earwicker) Allie. Raised in Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley, California, Tudy moved to Marshalltown in 1977 – living there until 1992 when she moved to Iowa City.

Tudy was a homemaker and enjoyed birdwatching from the front window of her home. She
especially cherished time spent with her 4 dogs.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Rowley and Danial (Darla)Rowley, all of Marshalltown, daughters Sherry McGrew and Tammy Rutherford, both of North Liberty;
eight grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Jeffrey, Justin, Tina, Tonya, Yolonda and Vanessa;
8 great-grandchildren and a brother, Larry Allie of Houston, Texas

Tudy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lois.
